Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is confident closing a deal for Lille striker Divock Origi. The People says Rodgers hopes to beat Borussia Dortmund to the signing of Belgium's World Cup striker by agreeing to loan him back to Lille.
The Germans have emerged as serious rivals to the Reds as both clubs look to tie up an £11million deal.
Rodgers has tried to change the Lille forward's mind by offering him a season-long loan back to the French club.
