Liverpool boss Rodgers in Belfast for Milk Cup draw

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was in Belfast on Tuesday for the 2013 Milk Cup draw.

Northern Irishman Rodgers has historic links to the tournament, having represented Ballymena three times during the 1980s and later coached a Chelsea team at the cup. "As a footballer, playing in the Milk Cup is one of the best experiences you'll ever have in your life," said Rodgers.

"It's about enjoyment and experience and that is what youth football is all about. It's a wonderful tournament, is still going strong after 21 years and I'm proud to be associated with it."
