Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is backing his youngsters to fill the void left by the suspended Luis Suarez.
Jonjo Shelvey is the man charged with filling Suarez's boots. The 20-year-old was at West Ham United as a kid, before packing his bags as a show of loyalty when his father and brother both left the club.
Rodgers insisted: "If you are missing Luis Suarez, you are missing a world-class striker.
"But Jonjo's going back to his part of the world. He has four goals in Europe so far and the more we have in the team with an instinct for that, the better."
