Liverpool boss Klopp: What pressure? No surprise Manchester clubs on top

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists he's not feeling any extra heat after a poor start to the season.

Speaking today ahead of their Carabao Cup tie with Leicester City, Klopp says he's comfortable in his position.

“I'm not sure if there is pressure on us," he says. “I don't feel pressure, I feel opportunity, the chance to do something really good.

“I have pressure, but it cannot be bigger than the pressure I put on myself.

“I'm not overly happy with our situation, but I know why it is. We know we are strong, and that we need to deliver. That's what we need to work on."

On seeing both Manchester clubs top of the table, Klopp shrugged: “I watched United and City, but it's not my job to count points. They are in a good shape but a season is like this. As long as your attitude is right then you do not need to look at other teams.

“It's not a surprise that City and United are in (the title race). I cannot always say what everybody wants to hear. If I am fine with a lot of things then I say it and a lot of people do not want to hear it.

“I can't change my opinion every day because there are 500,000,000 different opinions."
