Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed he was planning for a medical career before football took over.

The Reds manager was answering a series of questions put to him by supporters in a quick-fire question and answer session with the club's kit manufacturers New Balance.

On his career prospects outside of football, Klopp said: "[I would be] a doctor, because I wanted to study medicine.

"And I don't think anyone would give me money for playing football."
