With Liverpool desperately needing to qualify for the Champions League next season, manager Jurgen Klopp insists his side must win three from their last four Premier League matches.
The Reds currently sit third, ahead on goal difference to Man City in fourth and one point ahead on Manchester United who is in fifth. Life was rather comfortable for Klopp's side until they lost to Crystal Palace at home last Sunday. Now anxiety has kicked in and the German believes there isn't much room for incidents like the Palace game.
"The games are important, we know. If we win no games in the last four, it will be difficult to be in the Champions League," Klopp told The Daily Mail.
'If we win one, it will be unlikely. If we win two, it's not really likely. But if we start winning three, it can work. If we win four, I would say it's more likely it will happen.
'But the only way to do this is to win the next one, and that's what we should try. It's difficult enough without getting involved in all the pressure around it.'
With Manchester City and Manchester United both dropping points on Sunday, Liverpool now have the opportunity to gain some breathing room when they face Watford at Vicarage Road on Monday night.
