Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to take a close look at young winger Ryan Kent.

The Daily Star says Klopp is set to bring Kent back from his loan spell with Coventry City.

And the Liverpool boss is ready to put the winger into his first-team.

Klopp has asked for the 19-year-old midfielder to be brought back.

Kent has impressed for League One side and netted once in his 16 appearances so far.

Liverpool have been keeping a close eye on the youngster's progress throughout the season.

But with the Reds facing a hectic January with up to eight games, Klopp wants extra bodies and Kent could play a part.
