Liverpool boss Klopp to make Sturridge call a season's end

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed his plans to hold future talks with striker Daniel Sturridge at the end of the season.

The England international has spent most of the ongoing season as a fringe player in Klopp's squad, and multiple reports have claimed that he is not happy with his current situation at Anfield.

Klopp insists that Sturridge's future, as well as that of other squad players, will be assessed when the current campaign is completed.

"I have no idea what happens in the summer but it is not only Daniel but a lot of players," he said.

"Daniel was not in training for eight or nine days because of a virus infection.

"We have to bring him back to the best shape possible and then bring this season to an end as successfully as possible. Then we will make decisions and speak about Daniel and any other players about what will happen at the end of the season.

"A lot of things will influence this and we can speak about it when it is time."
