Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits Saturday was a good day for the goalkeepers.
Simon Mignolet was outstanding for victory at Stoke City.
And it was revealed goalkeeping coach John Achterberg won the staff's Grand National sweep.
Speaking afterwards on Mignolet, Klopp said: “He is a fantastic, hard-working guy.
“Today was his day, 100%, and we also heard it was John Achterberg's day and that's really good to have!"
He added: “It was a goalkeeper's day. I can't really remember the last time he made a really big mistake.
“In Germany, when the whole world was 100% sure Manuel Neuer was the best goalkeeper in the world, he made mistakes unfortunately."
