Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Mohamed Salah has reached expectations and he added that he hopes that the Egyptian can carry on his destructive form when the Reds play against Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday.
When asked if Salah has exceeded his expectations, Klopp said: "He has reached them at least, that's clear.
"I like his goals and all that stuff but we don't have to talk about that, it's in the past. I'm more interested in his performance tomorrow night. He could get confidence off this."
Salah netted a brace in Liverpool's Premier League game against Southampton on Saturday.
His goals took his tally for the season to 14 goals in all competitions.
Liverpool will be seeking victory at the Sanchez Pizjuan against Sevilla knowing that three points can put them in the next round of Europe's Premier club competition.
