Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp plans to splash out in January.

The Sunday Express says Klopp wants to sign Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk and Celtic sensation Moussa Dembele in January.

Liverpool are used to doing business with the south coast club and reckon the Dutchman could be persuaded to move to Anfield.

Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Sadio Mane and Rickie Lambert have all swapped Southampton for Merseyside in recent years.

Dembele has dazzled in Scotland since joining the club from Fulham in the summer.

He's bagged 17 goals this season since moving north of the border.
