Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed the idea of picking players because of who they are and not how they perform on the pitch.
The German has a breadth of attacking options to select from following the additions of Mohamad Salah and Dominic Solanke and the return of Daniel Sturridge from injury.
"I never thought what's your name? How old are you? Never in my life," said Klopp.
"It's about performing, doing the right thing in the right moment.
"If they are patient then the future is bright. If they are not patient it can be really hard.
"We will help them and lead them through the jungle. I'm really confident we can do it."
