Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Trent Alexander-Arnold's future is NOT in midfield.

There's a school of thought that the Academy graduate will ultimately play in midfield but Klopp says that isn't currently part of his plan.

"You need on the wings all that Trent combines. It is the speed, it is the cross and you cannot use these crosses from midfield," Klopp said.

"I have no reason to think about another position. I know he played the No 6 but that wouldn't have been possible last year (because of) physical things. He is growing in all parts which is good but I don't think about another position."
