Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp isn't shutting the door on Mamadou Sakho staying this new season.

Klopp was non-committal on Mamadou Sakho's Liverpool future with the Frenchman not part of the Reds squad which beat Tranmere Rovers 4-0 in their first pre-season friendly.

He said: “First of all he needs to get 100% fit and then we will see."

Sakho is involved in rehab at Melwood, training on his own, as he recovers from the knee injury which brought an end to his loan spell at Crystal Palace.
