Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for Daniel Sturridge after the Englishman's performance in the 3-2 win over PSG on Tuesday night.

Sturridge made his first start of the season at Anfield with an injured Roberto Firmino on the bench. And he scored the opening goal against the Parisians.

"Daniel (Sturridge) played a super game," Klopp told BT Sport. "I have never seen him as fit as he is in the moment. He was everywhere. He helped left and right and he was in the box when he was needed.

"Then you can bring Bobby Firmino on and that helps a lot. I loved his goal celebration."
