Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to ease expectations around Sadio Mane.
The Senegal international starred again in the 5-0 win over Burton in the EFL Cup.
The 24-year-old Mane assisted the opener from Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge's second goal as Liverpool cruised to victory at the Pirelli Stadium.
His performance demonstrated exactly how he was missed at Turf Moor on Saturday, where Liverpool slumped to a 2-0 defeat by Burnley in the Premier League.
"I really like this player, but I don't like to talk too much after only two games for him," Klopp said.
"We knew of his qualities and how they fit our style, which is why we brought him here.
"It's not that we have to pat ourselves on the back every day at signing him."
