Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is chasing RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner for the summer market.

BILD says Klopp wants to acquire the services of Germany international Werner, who is reportedly looking to leave Leipzig, who sit sixth in Bundesliga.

He has been in contact with Werner's agent, Karlheinz Forster, while citing that the German is a 'huge fan' of the 22-year-old.

Werner has been in fantastic form this season for the Bundesliga outfit, scoring 18 goals and creating six assists in 37 games in all competitions.

The former Stuttgart man has also helped guide his side into the quarter-finals of the Europa League and will be in high demand this summer.
