Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits it's a tough situation for Fabinho.
The AS Monaco midfielder is yet to make his debut since arriving in the summer from Monaco.
Klopp said this morning: "I don't like to compare players, we had similar questions about Robbo (Andrew Robertson), Oxlade (Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain)... Not Virgil (van Dijk).
"I'm not sure if Sadio (Mane) did from the beginning. That's it. It's no problem, I don't like the situation.
"It's not nice (to tell Fabinho he's not involved), he comes from another league, a different system, and we have a good team, it takes time.
"The plan is he'll make us better, it takes sometimes more time, it's all fine. It's not like some would have expected, sorry, I can't change that."
