Liverpool boss Klopp dismisses Champions League favouritism as unfair

Jurgen Klopp has dismissed suggestions Liverpool are favourites for the Champions League.

The Reds lost in the final against Real Madrid last season. And after a summer of heavy investment, expectations are on Klopp's side to repeat their feat.

But the German insists those demands are unfair.

"We will try to be ready for PSG, but they are really good, a very interesting football project, and they rested two key players on Friday night," he said.

"People say, 'You should win it this year because you reached the final last year'. But come on. We play in the two toughest competitions in the world, the Premier League and Champions League.

"That is what has brought us all together – but there is not one second that is easy."
