Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is demanding total commitment from Reds fans.
The Reds host Newcastle at Anfield knowing a win against the Magpies would see them leapfrog sixth-placed West Ham, leaving them only two points behind Manchester United.
Klopp said: “One side is fighting for their lives. I said before the Stoke game we needed the crowd. Now we really need the crowd.
“Maybe it's easy to be a good crowd against Everton. The other side are blue and they don't like them so it's pretty easy. Dortmund game, the same - pretty easy.
“But Newcastle, big club, fighting to stay in the league. If we want to reach our targets we need to create a really special atmosphere in this game.
“We have played 20 games more than Newcastle. They have a brilliant team and haven't had a lot of injury problems.
“If someone thinks that because we have something like 20 points more than them that we will win this game easily then please stay at home.
“It makes no sense. It will be a real fight. We need to be prepared for it. I'm prepared for it, the lads will be prepared for it and please will everyone else be up for it."
