Liverpool boss Klopp coy on Keita, Robertson bids: £66M for Keita? Wow!

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has joked about their new club record bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.

After victory over Crystal Palace in Hong Kong, Klopp did not deny Liverpool had offered £66m for Keita this week.

Klopp said: “What do you know? £66million turned down today.

“Oh my God! Which newspaper? Are we in Vegas? I told you I don't speak about this.

“Not Vegas, what is it on the other side of the island in Asia? Yes, Macau. Are we in Macau? No."

Klopp also wouldn't be drawn on Liverpool's capture of Andy Robertson. The Scottish left-back will have a medical on Thursday after the Reds agreed a £10million deal with Hull City.

“I never say anything about anybody until they have actually signed or left. When that's happened I'll tell you immediately," Klopp added.
