Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Loris Karius will replace Simon Mignolet in goal for Liverpool's Champions League match against Maribor on Tuesday night.

The German has implemented a consistent rotation policy so far this season, with Karius being chosen in European fixtures compared to Mignolet who has played domestically.

Pundits have heavily criticised the rotation system, but Klopp is sticking with his guns ahead of the trip to Slovenia.

When asked about Karius, Klopp said: "Yes, Loris will start. If nothing happens from here on the way to Maribor, then Loris will start!"
