Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has broken his silence on not moving for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Klopp worked with Aubameyang as BVB coach where they enjoyed great success together.

However it is Arsenal, not Liverpool, which are locked in talks with Dortmund about a fee for the prolific striker.

Klopp explained to DAZN: "Auba is a really good guy.

"He is a great player, but he does not play in a position where we urgently need new players..."
