Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign a young, English centre-half.

The Guardian says Liverpool are interested in Leicester City's Harry Maguire.

Maguire, who is currently on international duty with England, had an impressive season at the King Power last year and performed admirably in the Three Lions' victory over Tunisia earlier in the week.

The Reds, it is claimed, are also tracking Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles and Burnley's James Tarkowski.

Meanwhile, Manchester City would provide stiff competition for Maguire's signature.
