Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp due double injury boost

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is set for a double injury boost.

Keeper Loris Karius, a £4.7 million summer signing from Mainz, is ahead of schedule after breaking his right hand against Chelsea in July and will return to full training this week.

And inspirational midfield star Lucas is also targeting a first team return after recovering from a hamstring injury, says the Daily Star.

Lucas was sidelined for a month after limping off against Huddersfield in pre-season but is now fit and ready to force his way back into Klopp's plans.

He said: “I'm 100 per cent. I'm ready to go. I have another two weeks to train and I feel very fit. I would say I'm now ready to play 90 minutes."
