Liverpool boss Hodgson targets Man City fullback Bridge
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to go English again following the celebrated capture of Joe Cole this week.
Hodgson is planning a move for Manchester City left-back Wayne Bridge as he seeks to fill the void left by departing pair Fabio Aurelio and Emiliano Insua.
Bridge would welcome a move to Anfield as his first team place is now in doubt following City's deal for Aleksandar Kolarov, the departing Lazio left-back.

have always been a fan of wayne bridge. and i was extremely disappointed with what happened to him at Chelsea. Liverpool or not, if he decides to stay at MC, i hope that he gets 1st team.
Yeah, way to go, Tribal! Ha ha. Still love this site, if anything its incredibly amusing. Bring on Bridge. I'd welcome some experience at left back. Just hope he hasn't gone all Barry and ball watch while being at Man *****. I heard 8m, which is steep for a 30yo. Its not like ***** needs the money. Chelsea had the same reasoning with 30yo Benayoun. Either way we need a left back pronto!
