Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson will reportedly look to purchase Wigan left-back Maynor Figueroa but only if he can offload Emiliano Insua for £5million.
Italian club Fiorentina keen on Insua indicating that a deal to bring Honduran international Figueroa to Anfield is likely.
Insua fell out of favour at Liverpool towards the end of last season but the Florence club are prepared to pay the £5milllion meaning it is just a matter of time before Figueroa joins the Reds.
