Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is delighted for Jamie Carragher over his latest playing landmark.
Carragher will skipper the side against West Ham this evening as he celebrates his 650th outing for Liverpool - joining Phil Neal in fifth place on the all-time appearance chart.
Hodgson admitted: "It is a rarity to get to 650 and I don't think he gets anything like the credit he deserves.
"Jamie has been a superb servant to the club and in the five months I've been here, I have yet to see him play a bad game."
