Liverpool are interested in Inter Milan fullback Davide Santon.

Itasportpress says Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is considering Santon as a replacement for unsettled right-back Glen Johnson.

Santon is weighing up his future at Inter and Liverpool would be favourites for his signature thanks to Hodgson's close relationship with the club.

A swap deal involving Ryan Babel or Dirk Kuyt has been mooted for Santon.
