Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is chasing Lille attacker Gervinho.
L'Equipe says Hodgson was present as Lille picked up a 2-1 win over Monaco to move to the summit of Ligue 1. Also present at the Stade Lille-Metropole was Laurent Viaud, a French scout for the Reds.
At the end of the game, when Hodgson was asked if he was following Gervinho, he simply stated that the Ivorian was not the only good player on the field.
Also in action for Lille on the evening was Belgian teen Eden Hazard.
