Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson believes sacked Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton will soon return to the game.
Newcastle parted company with Hughton on Monday, but Hodgson believes the coach won't be out of work for long.
"It's not really for the likes of me to get involved with this," he told liverpoolfc.tv. "I don't know details of his working relationship with the owner. All I can say is I know Chris to be a very good coach and a very good person.
"Newcastle's loss will certainly be someone else's gain because he has an awful lot to offer football."
