Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is expected to be handed £30 million for the January market.
The Daily Star Sunday says John W Henry and new chairman Thomas Werner, who will be at Goodison today for the crunch derby with Everton, plan to meet Liverpool directors tomorrow to begin financial talks.
It's thought that they will fund an initial £30 million transfer package for Hodgson after wiping out all the club's debts.
Henry added: "It's our first day but we're going to meet on Monday for the first time and talk. Thankfully Liverpool is a global football club so we have got to look to increase revenues globally.
"The current management has done a tremendous job in doing that over the last couple of years. We're going to do everything we can to help the club achieve loftier goals."
