Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson believes management beckons for Fulham captain Danny Murphy.

The former Red was made Fulham captain by Hodgson during his time at Craven Cottage.

"Danny is a good captain and I'm sure he is also coaching material in the future when he eventually stops which won't be for a while yet because he's still a very good player," Hodgson told Liverpoolfc.tv.
