Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is in no rush to introduce £35 million signing Andy Carroll to fans.
The former Newcastle United striker is continuing his rehabilitation from a thigh problem sustained while he was still at Newcastle.
"Andy is progressing very well. We never gave a date and we won't put a date on it - we just said it would be a few weeks," said Dalglish.
"As long as we are patient and Andy is patient we'll be okay but we won't be rushing him back."
