Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish says the club will protect Luis Suarez as he returns from his eight-match ban.
Suarez will return to action following an eight-game ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra when the Reds face third-placed Tottenham at Anfield tomorrow.
That is followed by a potentially-explosive trip to Manchester United - when the Uruguayan striker will come face-to-face with his accuser for the first time since the October day when he demanded FA action over Suarez's insults.
Dalglish said: "Luis knows he's in a place where he's comfortable. He is loved and revered.
"The way he torments the opposition makes it understandable why they don't enjoy seeing him play - but we will."
