Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish believes Andy Carroll can handle the talk of offering him to other clubs.

Carroll's future has been in the spotlight twice now in his 12 months at Anfield after also being linked with a return to Newcastle.

But Dalglish does not think it will affect the Geordie's confidence.

He insisted: "We don't have any problems with any of the players because they are all going nowhere.

"Andy has said he is very happy here and doesn't regret coming.

"That's the best reference you can get, but for some reason the focus always seems to be on the big fella."
