Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has warned fit-again Glen Johnson he's no walk-up starter.

Dalglish thinks the strength in depth this season means it is no foregone conclusion, with rookies Martin Kelly and John Flanagan both impressing at full-back.

He said: "We've got to make sure what we're doing is right and whether it would be right to put Glen straight back in is open to debate.

"But we're fortunate we don't have to rush him as a lot of the boys have done well."
