Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish says transfer funds are in place should they find a worthwhile transfer target.
Dalglish was asked about his signing plans after victory over Fulham.
He said: "No. When we've got something to tell you we will.
"Everything's in place, there is finance there but it's difficult to get players at this time, and if we are going to bring someone in they've got to be better than what we've got. If we don't get anyone it won't be for want of trying.
"We can't stop other people talking about ourselves in newspapers or on television and we can't stop rumours but we'll just do our business the way I've said - when we have something concrete we'll tell you.
"Having said that, I thought the Ryan Babel thing was concrete!"
