Liverpool boss Dalglish insists he's happy with Carroll progress

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish insists Andy Carroll will live up to his £35 million price-tag.

Carroll returns to Newcastle United this weekend for the first time since last January's transfer.

"People are entitled to their opinion," said Dalglish. "There are always going to be people saying it was good (business) or bad. But that doesn't make any difference really.

"We were delighted to get him and we are still very pleased to have him. Some settle in quicker, but Andy's settled in the area (now) and he's worked really hard to progress his career."
