Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is happy working with football director Damien Comolli.
Dalglish insists he's comfortable with Comolli's role.
He said: "To be perfectly honest, it is not that much of a difference. In my first job here Peter Robinson, the general secretary, negotiated all transfers and players' wages.
"That wasn't a problem because I didn't want to get involved in finance, just stick to playing or picking players.
"It's the same now and (director of football strategy) Damien Comolli is doing a fantastic job.
"You can imagine the number of calls he gets about players and what he has to put up with, and he can have that every day of the week as far as I'm concerned."
