Liverpool boss Dalglish big fan of Lambert's Norwich

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is a big fan of Norwich City and manager Paul Lambert.

The Carrow Road boss spent most of his playing career in Scotland but did enjoy a spell with Borussia Dortmund in the mid-Nineties, where he became the first British player to win the Champions League since its 1992 inception.

Dalglish told liverpoolfc.tv: "They play the way Paul Lambert has been brought up, through his career in Scotland and obviously in Germany.

"He's got his principles and beliefs from the places he's been, and it's a wee bit ironic that he got the job on the back of beating them 7-1 at Carrow Road.

"He's done a fantastic job.

"They've done fantastic in the Premier League, and they got back-to-back promotions to get there.

"Paul spent very wisely in the summer and got a lot of decent players in."
