Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish feels Andy Carroll's goal scoring performance in victory at West Bromwich Albion was his best since arriving in January.

Carroll on Saturday evening bared his teeth to make life highly uncomfortable for Ben Foster, Jonas Olsson & co.

"I think it's Andy's best game for us since he signed," said Dalglish. "He was strong, powerful and technically good as well.

"We said when he came in that it was a five-year investment. I don't see any reason to change my stance. I think he's getting his reward now for working really hard."
