Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez shrugged off Martin Skrtel's shaky debut in last night's FA Cup victory over Havant & Waterlooville.

He said: "It's not easy to analyse a player after his first 90 minutes at Anfield. He was okay, he did a lot of good things but the understanding with the other players will take time."
