Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez isn't planning to name a replacement for former assistant manager Pako Ayesteran.

The Times says having appointed Paco de Miguel as a fitness coach and Angel Vales as head of technical analysis at Anfield this summer, Benitez believes that he has the staff to compensate for the loss.

The news will only reaffirm Ayesteran's belief that he was undermined by Benitez after arguing that the arrival of De Miguel and Vales encroached on his duties, which involved the technical and fitness aspects of training.
