Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has refused to rule out a future move to Inter Milan. Benitez has been tipped to succeed Jose Mourinho at Inter, with the former Chelsea manager expected to join Real Madrid after the Champions League final.
And yesterday, asked whether he would accept an offer from Inter's president, Massimo Moratti, Reds boss Benitez gave a strange answer.
Speaking at an event hosted by the Spanish Institute of Physical Education and Sports Science, where he received an honorary medal, Benitez said: "Now I am here at the university and I am very happy."
The Sun says when quizzed about the decision of Serie A giants Juventus to snub him and appoint Luigi Del Neri as their new boss, he added: "I tell you the same thing. I'm very happy at the university."
Benitez was then asked if he was being very defensive but just said: "I have to."
