Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez isn't surprised to see Diego Tristan now proving his worth at West Ham United.

Before yesterday's victory at Upton Park , Benitez told liverpoolfc.tv: "He is a very good player.

"He did really well when he was with Real Mallorca and Deportivo La Coruna. He was a big player with great quality.

"He will be dangerous, clearly. He doesn't have big pace now but he has quality and he is clever. He can use both feet, so he's a threat."
