Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez was delighted with Dan Agger's performance at fullback for their win over Benfica.

Agger was impressive in the 4-1 Europa League triumph.

"I am really pleased with Agger because he was really good against Benfica in a different position," Benitez told liverpoolfc.tv.

"For all centre-backs, especially if they are big, it is not easy to play as a full-back, but we were talking with Daniel and practising in the training sessions.

"When you have a player with his commitment, it is really good for the team."
