Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez doesn't expect transfer prices to fall, despite the global credit crunch.

He told liverpoolfc.tv: "It's difficult to say. When you talk about some players, we don't know if we will sign someone, we are monitoring players - that is clear, but we have to decide. But the pressure when you ask about good players is that everyone talks about big big money.

"The question is that if you go to an option then you have to pay more, but sometimes it is good to go in at the right moment and get the right player. Clearly I do not see the prices coming down."
