Liverpool boss Benitez delighted with victory

Liverpool beat Bolton 3-1 to record a crucial win in the race for fourth place in the Barclays Premier League.

A howler of an own goal from home keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen put the Reds on their way to victory and second-half goals from Ryan Babel and Fabio Aurelio sealed the win which, at least for now, lifts them back above city rivals Everton into fourth.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez insisted that his only concern was taking three points rather than focusing on his rotation policy.

"I saw Man Utd changing things. But believes me the important thing is if you win."

The Reds boss was pleased by both the team's display and the result adding: "We are going forward. It was a good team performance. It is very positive.

"Both things are important. In the end to play well and to win is the key."

However, Benitez refused to look too far ahead, saying: "Three points against West Ham will be really good and after that we will think about Newcastle."
