Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has defended his decision to start Steven Gerrard on the bench for yesterday's FA Cup humiliation by Barnsley.
Benitez snapped: "If you play against Barnsley at Anfield and you are thinking about just one player, then something is wrong."
